WE ARE MOVING!

It's an incredibly exciting time for us at Estate Tea as we're moving back to our roots In Newcastle! While we have only been in our current Gateshead shop for two years, it has been a very necessary for us to move. Quite simply - we've run out of room!

Our new premises will give us the space to fit our shop, teahouse, wholesale and online businesses all under one roof. This will make life a lot simpler than rushing between shops and industrial units. It will be a space to sit, relax, drink good tea and have a bite to eat. You might also see shipments arriving from various tea growing regions, to later be packaged for sale on our shop shelves.It has felt like a risky time to be undertaking such a large project with the current threat of covid-19, but in some sense also the ideal time. We can design our new shop with social distancing in mind, as well as take our time with reopening during the pandemic. We are hoping to open our doors to you all in early October. As you're aware, the high street has taken a battering over the last few years, further worsened by the current pandemic. It is only because of our loyal customers that we have made it this far - and for that I am eternally grateful. I look forward to welcoming you through our doors again soon.
